iphone 3G payg 02 UK help

im on a 3g iphone payg and ive got 5 months left of web & wifi bolt on.
After the 12 months can i just get the same iphone 3g sim card of ebay and put it in my phone and use the same number with the new sim card
and will the web & wifi work for free with the new 12 months

You won't be able to have the same number. O2 wont let you change your number and get another 12 months free.

Either have to have a new number or give in to them and pay £10 per month for the unlimited data and be on PAYG. Or switch to a sim only contract.

If you can I'd go for SIM only:
600m talk, 1200 msg, unlimited data. £19.67 p/m

i meant can i use the mobile number im using now then transfer the number to the new sim card by phoning 02 or something else

That's what we understood you to mean. You can't transfer your number to a new SIM and get an extra year's free Web&Wifi.
