itunes library size

Hi there,

Not sure if i'm being a biff, but when i open itunes it says at the bottom that i have "2800 songs, 12.18GB", however if i go to the "get info" on the itunes music folder it says the folder is 45GB big!! Is this an anomaly or have i duplicated files here somewhere? The free memory on the macbook indicates the 45GB is nearer the truth!

Do you have a bunch of stuff you removed from your iTunes library but did not delete from your computer?
 
Apologies for wasting everyones time, turns out i am a biff, forgot i reclassified lots of bits entered as movies to TV shows in itunes. So having checked movies, i didn't realise i had a TV folder too.

I'll get my coat........😱
