Between a rock and a midget
this is actually for a friend of mine. He has a 400Mhz PowerMac G4 that he wants to upgrade. He already has a Seagate hard drive and wants to install it. I've done this before for myself and i used the sonnet tempo ATA/133 controller, so i know that works. He doesn't want to spend that money if he doesn't have to. Will the Seagate Barracuda (which is recomended for ATA/100) run on ATA/66? I thought that hardrives weren't using up all of the 66's bandwith anyway, so i assumed yes. Is this true? someone please let me know. He really needs this computer
