Looking for Space / hyperspace type wallpapers

I've wanted a screensaver for the longest time of Stargate SG-1 hyperspace, but I could never get it.


I had at one point (on my old PC) created one from a short video, but the quality was pretty bad. It was an animated .gif



If you have the means (IE, high quality SG-1 videos, editing program, gif maker etc..)


Find a good scene showing hyperspace travel for a few seconds. Cut that and make it into a video clip, then split the clip into image files. Now all you have to try and do is find the pattern in the hyperspace swirls and try to match one at the start of the animation to one near the end.

Kinda sounds weird , but those sections of light in the early SG-1 hyperspace scenes had only about 5 or 6 patterns, they just looped them to keep a continuous effect of light passing by


I remember in the one I did I found one section to start my frame, which showed a pattern of light in the distance, then I stop the last frame at a pattern of light that matches that, so when played repeatedly, it appears to be a smooth transition



I'd love if someone could find a way to make a HQ one for use as a screensaver. The Scene I used was that episode where they blew up a sun. It's the only episode where they blow up a sun so it shouldn't be too hard to find lol

Specifically it was when they jumped into hyperspace to escape the artificial supernova

It works well in OS 10.5.7.

Edit: I made one using a handbrake rip of the same season 4 show I did before, this time better quality. I matched it up to play in a continuous loop, and can use the video as a screen saver with the "savehollywood" screen saver mentioned above.


It works alright but I still want the slower blue effect if I can find a good scene with it.
