I missed the bit about it being a voucher. This is going to better for new customers, still a good offer though.

It'd be too hard to deal with getting contracts and everything signed for a physical device. So we are letting the winner take care of that.

Where can you find the digital receipts for your purchases?

Where can you find the digital receipts for your purchases?

They are emailed to you. And you can look through your purchase history in iTunes by going to the iTunes Store, and clicking on your account.

Is there anyone who wonders if the requirement to purchase as a condition of entry to win something tangible isn't illegal gambling?

No purchase is necessary. You can get an entry by downloading a free application.

No purchase is necessary. You can get an entry by downloading a free application.True, but you get 11 times greater odds of winning only if you make a purchase.

I doubt this is a big deal, but it's something that I wondered about. I don't recall any drawing though where a purchase was necessary at all, except for charity raffles.

Think about McDonald's Monopoly. Their contest you can sent a self-addressed stamped envelope and get a game piece, or you can buy a Big Mac to get one. We are doing the same thing, but instead of collecting game pieces, your name is going into a hat.

I didn't feel that you were. I just want to try to explain where we are coming from, should anyone else have similar questions. And thank you.

Then it would have been better (nicer to cover people who aren't eligible for the upgrade pricing) if you would have the gift card cover the cost rather than the just the $300.

Can't please everyone . Who would have thought, a $300 gift card to the Apple store and there are complaints that it isn't $500.

It would have been nicer if you were giving away a 24" iMac...
