Hey all! I was just wondering if anyone out there had a 10 GB - 20 GB for a good low price. Preferably in a real good condition. Post specs, how much you want, and how soon you want to get rid of it. Thanks!

thanks, but that is a little to much for me right now. If you want to hold on to that for 2 - 3 weeks, i should be able to buy it. Thanks though.

This is your best bet, there are 10gb available for $199. These are basically NEW units (I bought one a year ago from the refurb site and it came in a new unopened box). These also have a year warranty by default.

Good luck with your purchase.. you get what you pay for as usual.

You need to look closer..

$199 for "refurbished." $249 for "brand new."

you had better luck with the refurbished and ended up with a brand new unit. but that's just luck. considering apple now has a separate section for "brand new" units, it's highly unlikely that the $199 "refurb" unit will actually be "brand new."

It may be a refurbed model (as they state of course), which still has a year warranty and qualifies for the Applecare iPod purchase as well as free shipping..

Regardless, $199 is about the cheapest one will find a revision 3 iPod which is what this original post was asking.

I'll sell you (or anybody else if you don't want it) my old school 10 gig iPod. It's not the kind with the dock. But it's in excellent condition (the back has light scratches but so does any iPod you get used). The battery life is good although I couldn't quote you an actual time. I would say at least 6 hours if not more. I don't use it all that much anymore. I'd be willing to part with it for $150 + shipping. It would include everything that came with the iPod (firewire cable, wall plug, ear buds, and the box (plus anything else that I can't recall)). Everything is in excellent condition. I can post pics if desired (once I get home from work). I have excellent eBay feedback also (150+ with no negatives).

Almost forgot. I would also include the cigarette lighter adapter so that you could plug the iPod into power in your car too. That's why I don't really know what the battery life is since I only used it in my car on long trips (which are rare for me) and I would leave the light on the LCD on the whole time.

The refurbed ipod is at the Apple store:
www.apple.com
Scroll down and on the left you will see a "Special Deals" icon. Click and then scroll down through the list to find "Refurbished iPod". Have fun! :)
