The article mentions a .SYS file as the cause of the problem, which Mac OS X doesn't use, so I'd assume the problem affects the Windows version (but it may also affect the Mac version - eEye may have not discovered it there yet).

symantec seems to have gone down hill for the last few years. i remember everyone used to swear by their products.
