removing iDisk from Desktop

potentiallly stupid questions... i tried .mac out and didn't use it much and di not subscribe... during my trial, i downloaded that utility that places the iDisk icon on your desktop and now I can't get rid of it. I went into startup items under my account and its clear and I tried to unmount it but nothing happens. please help.

open a new finder window, and along the left sidebar, your idisk should be displayed. to the right of the icon should be the universal "eject" symbol. press that, and it should unmount

Or just select the idisk icon on the desktop and CMD-E it. Same results as posted above.
