How to install the new firmaware??

I have no idea how to do it , i need your help , i downloaded the version of the firmaware of my ipod touch 2 nd generation...and now...

Please tell me how to do it step by step...


can this firmware damage my ipod???

I strongly recommend you wait for the 17th. But if you're willing....

Plug-in your iPod, press down the option key, hit restore, choose the firmware file and you're good to go!

I made a post about this and it got deleted

But if you download the firmware you can just restore it with itunes worked for me no problem did not even want me to be a developer i stayed online to did not have to shut my airport off or any thing
