Hey guys,

I am selling my Powermac G5 1.6GHz because I now need the portability of a Powerbook. The specs are:

Apple PowerMac G5
1.6GHz
1.25GB RAM (Crucial and Apple RAM)
Combo Drive
5200 Ultra
(2) 80GB SATA HD'S

The computer is incredible, and rediculously fast, I cannot imagine a faster Mac! It is in perfect condition, it does have one scratch on the side panel (the one that is not removeable) near the back, so it is hard to see. Otherwise, it is like new. I have everything that came with it, and it does come in the original box, therefore it will ship in the original box.

I have one heatware evaluation (http://heatware.com/eval.php?id=26967) and I am a semi-frequent poster at SpyMac (SLCentral is my username). I also have 40+ eBay feedbacks under davillageidiot1. The G5 was used for just a few months, I reviewed it on www.slcentral.com (that is my website), and now I am getting the Powerbook for portability and to review. There is no flaws with this G5!

I accept PayPal, and shipping will be anywhere from $50-$75, depending on the location.

Post here or e-mail me with questions, daniel@slcentral.com. Pictures can be found on my review on SLCentral.com, http://www.slcentral.com/apple-powermac-g5-computer/. These are actual pictures of the unit.

I am looking for around $1500, but make your best offer. If you have a 15" of the LATEST revision only, I will be willing to trade + cash!

Hey, a fellow SpyMac-er! :D I'm (still) in the market for my first Mac right now, and after reading up on all the different systems available to me, I think a G5 is probably my best bet. The only question I have is, just how flexible are you on the price? I'd love to give you $1500, since I think it's worth that much considering that you've upgraded it quite a bit. Unfortunately, I have to be able to afford a monitor too, and $1500 is my total budget for the time-being, and even that's stretching it. :( However, being a reasonable guy, I'd love to discuss "conditions" with you, and I'm sure we could work something out. My services as a print designer, or marketing, for partial trade? It's your computer, I'm just trying to throw ideas out there. ;) In the meantime, come say hi over at Spymac!

Michael -

If sometime soon Apple releases new LCD's I'll be selling my Viewsonic P225fb (http://www.computers4sure.com/product.asp?productid=1219361&affid=10001021&srccode=cii_6584906&cpncode=05-1655474) cheap. Like $250. That would be firm. This is a 22" CRT and is a great monitor.

Unfortunately, I have to be able to afford a monitor too, and $1500 is my total budget for the time-being, and even that's stretching it.
