It's the first iPhone that released 8gb
How can I activate it with pay as you go?
Any suggestions?
Would I have to unlock it?

Go to Wal-Mart, buy a GoPhone for like $10. Activate the gophone, take the SIM out and put it in your iPhone, done.

I would suggest searching the forums for answers to this. To the best of my knowledge, you do not have to jailbreak. But I could be wrong......

You do have to unlock it to use the GoPhone's SIM.

The last time I did this, I didn't have to unlock it, just activate it. It's been many months since then though.

Do any of you know if this will still work if (from a 1st gen iPhone) I purchase an unsubsidized ($700) iPhone 3G S and want to make it pay as you go? Is there anyway I could port my number from my former AT&T account?
