Does anyone know of a well-documented ethics case having to do with computer engineering/computer science? I've been searching the net for a good while now and I can find cases for other areas of engineering (industrial, mechanical, etc) but none having to do with chip design, buggy program code etc. The cases I have found are about hackers or people who are not engineers. My project needs to focus on the decisions made by the engineers themselves, not the corporations they represent.

Would google altering its code so that anything regarding the word freedom is blocked in China constitute computer engineering ethics?
