Does anyone think that £1350 ( incl VAT ) for a brand new boxed early 2008 2x2.8 Quad MacPro is a decent price? I have been looking at getting a MacPro for Video Editing on for a while but the prices have always seemed excessive. This doesn't seem too bad to me but what does anyone think?
Any ideas. Cheers

For a BNIB Mac Pro, I'd say that is pretty good. The 2008 models are well placed in the line up as they accept all the GPUs available (unlike the 2006s), and are octocore for a decent price unlike the 2009s.

Yes, that is absolutely a good price. I picked up the same model *used* on eBay (stock config) about 2 months ago for $100 over that price (although it does have AppleCare until 2011).

If it includes AppleCare I'd say it's a steal.

PC World. Think I may have to go and get one at that price. :D
