Question for you hack gurus.

I currently run the iphone 3g on yellowsnow and use t-mobile.

With the new iphone 3gs out - I obviously want it.

Can I hack the Iphone 3gs with yellowsnow and run T-mobile on it?

If not, then when, if it all, would it be possible?

No you can't yet. It isn't even released. How would there be an unlock for an unreleased phone? Anwyay, keep your eyes peeled here (blog.iphone-dev.org) and when the unlock/jailbreak is released. This will be the first website to show it, because this is the blog of the unlock developers.

Later this month. Expect an unlock in the first half of 2010.

1 more question.

I currently run firmware - 02.28.00
Version 2.2(5g77)

On T-mobile with yellowsnow.

Can I make any upgrades via the app store? or tweak the phone in anyway to get it to work faster?

Yea. You can remove anything that runs as a background process. (MobileSubstrate apps mostly). Things that use this process include Winterboard, SBSettings... etc...
