iPhone 3G Replacement

Ok, so with the Apple Care Protection Plan, if you crack you screen or have water damage you would have to pay $199 for a new iPhone.

So now that the 3G is $99, does this mean i would only have to pay $99 to get a new phone if it gets cracked or has water damage? :apple:
