All of the 3GS video recordings I've seen have been in portrait. This seems like a stupid question to be asking but does anyone know if the phone actually remember the accelerometer data when recording so that video taken with the phone in landscape comes out as landscape? It'd be a pain to have to rotate all my videos on my Mac afterwards.

in the keynote apple mentioned that you could record in either landscpare or portrait mode (i think)

The accelerometer seemed to be working fine w/JB Cycorder in portrait and landscape and I would transfer the video via Pixelpipe to other media,(not sure if that answers your question).....
