1st gen Touch Nit recognized in iTUNES

This morning i connected my 1st Gen touch to iTUNES and nothing? It is not being recognized .... ny nano is ? Help please i am running Mac OSX 10.4.11 and the latest version of iTUNES.

Did your Reboot?

My iTouch wasn't registering with iTunes (or at all) before, rebooting seemed to fix that.
