After months of drooling over Mac products, reading the threads on this wonderful site, and finally saving up the money, I have finally purchesed a Mac! Can't wait to open up my new Ibook G4! Being a MechE im sure my friends will think im crazy, but I know this is a good laptop for me.

ps: 1 post down, 499 to go!
 
Congratulations on making the switch! I love my powerbook to pieces! I'm sure you'll feel the same way with your iBook.

Well knowing how hard ANY engineering majors are, but especially Mech E, you deserve a break everyday--this iBook should work wonders for that!

Hope you got a superdrive for movies, procrastination purposes haha.

Gratulationes! (Congratulations in Latin).

You're going to love it! I switched last June and have never looked back! Mac users are very much like a clan/family-thing. So, on behalf of the clan, I welcome you to our family!
 
Congrats! You are going to love your new iBook, I hear they are great machines.

You know, the fact that everyone seems to be getting new laptops these days just may make me have to order my new pb a little sooner! 😀
