Windows 7 sound

Hey everyone, new question about the sound when installing Win 7 on a uMBP. I installed all the apple drivers and everything and the speakers do work, however they are pretty quiet even at max volume. Is there a fix for this?

Also, the infrared on the headphone jack is constantly on. Could this have something to do with it?
