Swapping iPhones with someone. Do I have to do anything special? Reactivate?

I am planning on swapping my black iPhone for a white iPhone from someone on here. I was wondering if it is as simple as putting my sim in the other phone. Or do I have to do anything special?

Prsumably this, like returning your phone to get £200 from environfone etc - you need to wipe it somehow?

There should be no problem, as long as they are both either unlocked, or locked to the same network.

Thanks. Anyone with actual experience? I want to be able to swap my sim into the new phone and have everything sync up like normal to iTunes.

I've done it multiple times. Back your phone up. Swap sim cards, and choose to restore from backup when connected to iTunes. It's that easy.
