Anyone use virtual machine?

I'm using virtual machine & I'm trying to do some homework :(

This is for a course on windows xp & microsoft office....I have to be able to use the "control" key like windows would make it work? Also, same issue with the F's (like F4, etc) I have to push F4 (while in XP on virtual machine) to make certain windows functions happen, but F4 brings up my widgets??

Not quite sure of your issues.. However. You can go to System Preferences>Keyboard & Mouse>Use All F1, F2 etc. keys as standard function keys. This stops your dashboard from coming up. You can use the fn key to bring it back up again.
