replaced hard drive, worked, but now won't start

Last week, I replaced my hard drive in my G4 desktop, formatted it, and reloaded my software. Everything worked great. This morning, when I pushed the power button to start the computer, nothing happened. The power button lights up, and then goes out. I don't hear the computer starting at all. Any ideas on what going on?
