Hi long time pc person looking to try a mac full time. I was thinking something along a mac mini or imac. I want it to be able to do image editing, web design (like flash, etc), and to be able to take the video from my digital camcorder and edit it( basic editing like cutting, adding menus, etc), burning dvds and music.
Which way should I go mini or imac? I know where I can get a dual core 1.9 20" imac with 4gig ram for $800 would that be a good price? I herd that they had issues with freezing is that true or has it been fixed?

DO NOT buy PowerPC. Get an Intel machine.

Go for the Mac Mini or an Intel iMac.

Get base Mini and upgrade its RAM and HD by yourself or iMac of your choice

One thing you didn't mention was whether you currently have a monitor.

If you don't an iMac is a good solution (intel based), but if you have a nice monitor stick to the mac mini. For what you want you will be fine with either.
