I've been looking at the feature pages of iPhone/iPod touch OS v3.0:

http://www.apple.com/iphone/softwareupdate/

http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/softwareupdate.html

... and it looks like the iPod touch will be denied the ability to subscribe to calendars using WebDAV, which is mentioned on the iPhone page.

I've seen the GM of v3.0 running on a development iPod touch, and it doesn't have the icon in the bottom-right of the Calendar screen shown here (next to the Month button):

Nor is there any way I could find to subscribe to a calendar.

Does anyone know if this is correct? Has anyone compared OS 3.0 running on an iPhone to an iPod touch?

Looks like iPod touch users also still don't have Street View either.

look at the pictures below, i think that's what you're asking for. also street view is available and you can also change the transportation method as well. oh and that icon in calendars (the one next to month) has been there since 2.0. it's for calendar invites.

Settings -> Mail,Contacts,Calendars -> Add Account -> Other

That will allow you to add a CalDAV account or a new subscribed calendar. Street view also does work, the post above shows how.

Great!

Great! Well, that's all good then.

Are all those screenshots from the GM Developer Seed? 7A341?
