This is what u will get, probably:
Max. 1GHz PPC from IBM,
Not Standerd but Max.1GB SDRAM, (Possible DDRRAM)
ATI Radeon 8500dv 64MB (Maybe GeForce2 32mb)
8 firewire ports - No Chance
12 USB ports - No Chance
GigaWire - Little Chance, in G5 first
1MB L2 Cache running at 1GHz - Not yet!
16x DVD 24x10x40x CDRW not a slot loader (Possibly Combo drive, but none that fast! Possibly a 16x one)
Sound card that supports DTS and 7.1 surround - No Chance, I have 5.1 running of my powermac through my sherwood amp and a creative labs card.

i agree that people are buying more and more usb peripherals. but there really should be no mass need for usb ports. most "normal" people only really need a max af 3. by normal i mean people who do not sit at their computer all day like most of us. so i think that 4 would be a good number of ports. but i think we'll be seeing usb start to get phased out soon and *replaced* with 1394.
