What about a black 8GB 3G iPhone with small 1-2cm crack from earpiece in the screen to the top of the phone? Other than that - perfect phone!

I had a few bids and eventually my 16GB WHITE IPHONE sold for $400. But that winning bidder never contacted me and then evetually tells me that his brother used his computer and placed a false bid. B.S. if you ask me. I HATE people that just do fraud or flake on EBAY. Wasting valuable time on this sell of my Iphone.

I'm sorry, but your answer could have easily been answered by yourself by simply searching in eBay. That ain't that hard.:rolleyes:

I'm shocked that you thought asking this on a forum, then waiting for replies was a better solution than just going on eBay.

Yeah, although I will say that I think it was at $408 or so a few days ago so it looks like it's dropping

the problem with "going to ebay and doing it yourself" is that you can't tell how many of those completed auctions were won by scammers or deadbeat bidders. You see some black 16GB 3g's selling for 400, and you see some selling for 340. It's hard to tell what's what.

But I'd say the trend is going down. Maybe it'll go back up when the 3.0 yellow snow unlock comes out.

I would like to sell my 6 months old, Black 16GB, very very good condition, never fallen (<is that the right word?) with some light scratches (hairlines?) on the back because of no case and bore ness, used with case (SwitchEasy REBEL) and screen cover for like 5 months, for that amount!...

but im too lazy to put it on Ebay...:(

HEHEHEHE...

I just sold mine on ebay for $335. Wasn't as much as I'd hoped for but better than nothing.

Did you sell yours unlocked or jailbroken?

I think the ones that are unlocked/jailbroken are going for more on ebay/craigslist because most of the 3G buyers are people who would want to use it on another carrier. I've also noticed a lot of people are posting the option for both, sell it as is (wiped clean of course), or offer to JB/unlock it.

Are people getting this kind of money even if they have slight hairline cracks? Or you guys not advertising those things?

I have seen refurbished phone being listed as brand new, a lot of people don't read the listing details. This drives the price higher. I am going to the apple store tomorow, if they give me a new one I will sell it on eBay close to $500 with accesories, and use that money to buy my 3gs 16gb for $400. I should break even.
