So I got me a 500GB Time Capsule, and upgraded it with the 640GB Western Digital I had around the house (more or less as a proof of concept / learning session to prepare me for installing the partitioned 2TB drive... without ruining my media in the process).
I just wanted to verify that what I am experiencing is normal Time Capsule behavior:
1. In order to backup or "enter Time Machine" a disk image is mounted in my Finder called "Backup of [My Computers Name Here]".
2. Spotlight is routinely indexing the disk image that is titled "Backup of [My Computers Name Here]", even though I listed it in the "Prevent Spotlight from Searching These Locations" list.

Addition - My Internet browsing experience is suddenly very slow. My iPhone renders pages faster over the Wi-Fi connection generated by the Time Capsule. I just tried transferring a 1.65GB file to the Time Capsule and it took about five minutes, which seems pretty fast. I guess what I'm wondering is, how do I know I'm taking full advantage of the Dual Band and getting N speeds on my MacBook and G speeds on my iPhones/Powerbook G4?
