My guess is that the 3.0 software update will become available at 1pm EST (Eastern standard time) that's New York time in the USA and it will be available for download around the world.

I'm expecting it to be available when i get up tomorrow morning, around 11am BST, which i believe is 8 hours in front of PDT.
