Hi All.
I will be spending a couple of weeks in Barcelona and want to bring my aluminum Macbook with me. Do I need Apple's adapter kit or can I get by with something less? Will a simple electronics adapter be good enough or do I have to do something to convert voltage?
Thanks!

As far as I'm aware, a simple plug adapter is fine because the power brick is designed to accept a range of voltages. I'm not 100% sure of that though.

The adapter supports 100-240V at 50-60Hz, so a simple converter like this will be fine:

I have a reverse one, and it works fine when I travel from Europe to America.

Same here, the apple adapter converts the power.

The brick supports both US and International voltages, 110 and 220 (120, 240, whatever).
I'd get an adapter that has a grounding plug just to be safe.

If it's written 110-220 on the power cord just go for the simple plug.
