Wireless Mighty Mouse issue!

Hi, i just bought a wireless mighty mouse and everything seems to be working fine with it except one thing.

When i click the side buttons, i have noticed that i really have to put some effort into clicking them both or it doesnt do the intended action. I was wondering if this is normal. when i had just the wired mouse i didn't really have to click it too hard at all to get the desired result. is there something wrong with my mouse. thanks for your help.

Yes it's normal at the beginning.

It is usually a bit stiff to begin with but eventually it will not need as much pressure. It really comes down to technique though. The higher up the button the easier it is to press as it has more leverage to actuate but once you are used to it its not really a problem. :)
