Question RE: backing up pre 3.0 update

Hi,

I have a few apps that have saved data, music apps, a couple of games etc...

Does anyone know if these are all synced when you connect the touch, or just the applications themselves?

I know I'll need to re-sync apps, music and videos.
Just wondering if I need to backup Beatmaker songs, beatpacks etc... before upgrading to 3.0 too.

Sorry if this has been covered, a quick scan of the forum and a quick search weren't too helpful.

I was able to put 3.0 on my 1st gen Touch without having to restore the backup. Of course on a first gen not as much is being changed compared to the 2nd gen. No voice recorder app. No bluetooth. etc.
