Restore to blank 2.2.1, then upgrade to 3.0, and restore info from backup?

Currenty Jailbroken 2.2.1, if i Restore to blank phone, then upgrade to 3.0, can i get all my info onto the 3.0 phone?

Whats the best way to get a 3.0 Phone Unjailbroken with all my apps and contacts etc?

backup your **** now, restore from backup, upgrade to 3.0

make sure all your apps are out of categories and "Poof!" on prefs
