Wondering if there were any peeps here who happened to have bought the NEW album "You are the Quarry"...I bought it at best buy today and it said that it came with a DVD but all I have is the CD! I placed the cd in my computer drive but there is NO video or anything that would tell me that its a DVD...Am I retarted? :(

Hmmm...I'm a big Mozzer fan. :) Although I haven't really listened to recent stuff, since around Southpaw Grammar. The case isn't one of those ones where the second disk is on the back of the inside plastic layer and you have to flip it open the other way, is it? That sucks. :(

Been a Morrissey fan since "The Queen is Dead" days when he fronted for The Smiths. Only got interested in the first couple of albums after he left the band to go out on his own, but the tracks I've heard off the new CD sound interesting.

I dig The Smiths but am not so much a Morrissey fan.

I'm a huge Mozz fan - ever since '86. High school and Strangeways go hand in hand in my head. His new cd is really REALLY good. It's all my iPod seems to want to play today!

Curious about this dvd - what is it supposed to have on it?

I love Moz. Hard to beleive that this is the first new product since 1997! I picked it up today and I'll give it a few days to judge. I'm on my third listen as I type.

DVD: No idea. According to Amazon.com, there is a version with DVD and one without. I went to Best Buy with the intention of getting the DVD edition, but they were all the same (non-DVD) paper jewel case. I'm going to check the "real" music store in a day or two. What's supposed to be on the DVD anyway?

I love him, but he's looking kind of old, isn't he? I guess I am too.

I find The Smiths are more to my liking than the man's music on it's own. The girl with whom I work is a big M fan and wouldn't mind catching him on the latest tour. However, since hearing a few tracks she said she's not exactly going to rush out to buy the Quarry album. Which, considereing her devotion, surprises me.

I for one have not heard any tracks from it and therefore can not comment.

Well, I found out that STUPID best buy incorrectly placed ads on the regular CD rack...I mistakenly bought the cd expecting for a DVD to be included...There is a DVD version with the cd but its 20 bones....Pretty slim picking though; the cd only has one VIDEO and pictures... :(

I love the album..Its pretty cool....I recently won a MEET and GREET contest thru KROQ, my local radio station here in L.A, so maybe my taste for this album is a little tainted....Moz was very cool...Hoped to have talked a little more than just saying "hi"...

Another thing, people, here in LA, have pointed out that there is a HUGE LATINO fan base for the MOZZER...Funny, but I did notice a BIG latino following...Any theories?
