Cannot access apps that were in categories before update.

I can no longer access the apps that were in categories before I upgraded my iPod to 3.0. They all sync to my iPod, but are not on the home screen or in search results. Because I cannot jailbreak the 3.0 software yet, I cannot install cydia or categories in order to fix this. Any suggestions?

go to Settings > General > Restrictions > Enable Restrictions > put in a password > Disable Restrictions > put in the same password.
