After 3.0 update - iphone wont sync!

I have restarted the phone, restart itunes, tried many times since yesterdays update - no dice. I get this error:

Ok, I feel pretty dumb - but I just re-read the error message and it states:"Notes" can't sync - because the iphone disconnected. I didn't do the disconnect - it apparently did that all by itself before the notes had the time to sync...

Anyone ever have this isssue?
