Hello,
I purchased a new MacBook a month ago to use with presentations. Everything worked fine connecting the machine to different projectors (using the $20 mini-DVI adapter, of course) until just recently when the MacBook would only display my background image on the projector screen. I found out that I had to go in an check "mirror displays" under the Display system preferences, which fixed the problem. However, every time I connect a projector I get the same issue and I'm sick of having to go into system settings every time. I have no idea why I had no problem before but now I do but is there a way to stop the MacBook from creating two displays?
