I've got a bunch of stuff that every time I empty my trash, it tells me I can't delete it, b/c it's locked, and I'm tired of pressing continue a dozen times just to empty the trash can. Anyone know how I can unlock these things and delete them? Thanks.

There are many ways and many apps to do this. Quick, easy, painless way to do it is to go go versiontracker and download "Trash It".

The trash can has a little know option that allows you to force empty locked items.
Clipped from Help: "If an item in the Trash is locked, press the Option and Shift keys when you choose Empty Trash to delete it."

another way...
pull up a terminal, type "rm -r .Trash/"
but don't get in the habit of using "rm -r" command too often. it could have some serious consequences. ;)

pull up a terminal, type "rm -r .Trash/"
and if that doesn't work, add the f flag:
rm -rf .Trash

The easiest way is to type :
command - option - shift -delete
Caution, it will erase everything in the trash without question!!!
