Hi all,

i'm fairly new to the mac world and i'm curious as to what cool little apps you're running that are fun and useful.

for example, i use:
launchbar (http://www.obdev.at/products/launchbar/) - launch apps from your keyboard.

and have played with:

dockit (http://www.gideonsoftworks.com/dockit.html) - add extra docks to your desktop
quicksilver (http://blacktree.com/apps/quicksilver/) - similar to launchbar

i haven't played with:
konfabulator(http://www.konfabulator.com/) - anything you want it to be. javascript widgets, i didn't find much useful in my initial visit.

dragthing (http://www.dragthing.com/english/about.html) - seen it, don't really care for it.

what apps are the rest of you using?

here's a thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=58101) thats similar to the one you started. there's lots of good stuff there.

someone recently led me to pith helmet (http://culater.net/software/PithHelmet/PithHelmet.php): a plugin for safari to block several types of ads. its really incredible how well it cleans up the tables. when your using hotmail, or yahoo - its as if an ad was never placed!
