My first IPhone, Help Me Prepare E-mail. A Guide.

Hey Everyone,

Finally getting the IPhone tomorrow.

I'm trying to prepare for the thing, and I have read and searched the forums for these answers, but I feel these issues are constantly renewed with fresh approaches, so I thought I would ask.


1.) What is the best way to handle your multiple e-mail accounts?

I currently have :

Domain email [ for my site ]
g-mail <- multiple accounts
mobile me
and
webmail [ from cox ] <--multiple accounts

I would like to always have a copy of all the email i send and recieve on my MacBook.

I would also like to be able to 'reply' from the email address I am e-mailed to.

How would you recommend I pull this all together? Using Gmail or My MobileMe account? I think Mobile Me Syncs with your sent folder...

I also don't use Mail.App but Thunderbird.

Should I ditch T-bird for Mail? Would that make this smoother?

You can have all those email accounts setup separately on the iPhone. I have 3 set up on mine (my own domain, my school address, and my mobileme).

Thanks for the reply, sorry I didn't get back sooner. Missed it. Got everything set-up and am enjoying the Iphone 3gs!
