I need to know if voipover3g works with 3.0 as well.

It wiil be great when Skype releases a new version with support for push notifications.

But why PDAnet?
Tethering is part of 3.0. There is no need to jailbreak.

i'm in japan and the carrier here announced no support for tethering.
but ive been using pdanet and they didnt say anything cuz i was on unlimited data plan anyways.

but since i thought tethering was included within the iphone, the carrier might find out if i used the tethering or not or something, so they can charge me.

correct me if im wrong

I don't know if it's easier for a carrier to find out if you are tethering using os 3.0 or pdanet.
But as pdanet drains my battery faster than the phone charges, I can't use it.
So I started using usb tethering provided by OS 3.0. My carrier doesn't support it (I'm in Brazil) and I don't think they will. But I will use it and hope they won't find..
