Is anyone else seeing that Slacker is messed up in 3.0?

The channels screen seems to be squished, and when playing a station the scrubber with the time remaining on the track doesn't move, nor does the time remaining on the track change. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, but to no avail. I am on an iPod touch 2g. I thought I heard that Slacker was supposed to have released a 2.0 version of the app that had stability enhancements on streaming just like they released for the Blackberry (it runs great on my Storm). Anyone have any info on this?

I just gave it a test on my 3G S and I can't find any issues. Have you tried a re-install?

Yep, and I just saw that on the slacker website forums that i'm not the only one seeing this.

Looks like they haven't taken the time to respond to that. I have tried reinstalling, no luck. Like I said, I did hear that they were supposed to have released a 2.0 version of the player with upgrades not only for 3.0 supposedly, but also stability in buffering enhancements like they did to the blackberry app.

Seems like Apple isn't releasing many updates at all, and the updates they are releasing are to mostly crappy apps that barely anyone uses. This is such BS.

From what I've read, Slacker has submitted an update to Apple that is 3.0 compatible. We just have to wait for Apple to put it into App Store. One of the virtues of the App Store is that it's good to have someone who is checking for viruses and spyware. But one of the things we give up is quick turn-around time to address issues. I'm sure Apple is or will be putting this through an exhaustive test.

But I agree with you, Apple should give higher priority in its review process to apps that are more widely used.
