Scosche passPORT adapter and teh iPhone 3G S

Does anyone else have the Scosche passPORT adapter and the 3G S? If so are you experiencing a high pitched squeal when connecting the 3G S to it? I tried the 3G S in my car today with the adapter and started getting a very high pitched squeal through my cars speakers. I did not experience this with the 3G. I took the adapter off and the squeal went away. Anyone else experiencing this?

Actually I ended up contacting Scosche and told them what happened. They are sending me a replacement which they say has been checked against the 3G S and guaranteed to work.
