Facebook App with Push???

So if anyone here has the Facebook app, you know that the developers are basically retarded and never update it. Does anyone know if Push for Facebook is in the works???

On another related note.... Since the Facebook App is not an official Application from Facebook, I assume that other developers can create a similar App. I would love if maybe one of the devs on MacRumors could write another Facebook app and include Push notifications.

Facebook for iPhone and iPod touch is the official Facebook app.

Check the developer page on the Facebook site, or the "Seller" information on the App store entry.

Anyway, so far Facebook is uber buggy on iPhone OS 3, but they're expected to fix it shortly - although we could be waiting a while since, like Apple, they don't give a solid date on a lot of stuff.

That's also why the developer on the app's page in iTunes is Facebook itself. It wouldn't say that if it was unofficial ;)

But still, they never update it.
