3.0 Bug? lighting up each time a new song comes on

If this has been discussed I am sorry, but this is bugging the heck out of me.

Since 3.0/3GS everytime a new song comes on the iPhone lights up, almost like it just got a message or a call is coming in. Is there anyway to turn this off?
