Notification of new apps

Does anyone know of an app or a service that will notify you when new apps are released? Hopefully it would have a filter that you can customize.

It doesn't notify you but www.appshopper.com (http://appshopper.com/) is a priceless resource. They have their stuff down with feeds too. You can subscribe to any configuration update you want. For instance. I'm subscribed to their new games feed, price change feed for games and games update feed. I like games, as you can tell, ha.

Unfortunately the app is very unstable and crashes every now and then. I used it for some time, the idea is definitely good but the stability issues forced me to delete it out of frustration.
