I use it for the Music right now. But when I upgrade to 3.0 I will use it for the camera also.
 
Really? No one else uses search?

I guess I'm the minority since I carry another iPod with me, my phone can't hold all my music, I rarely call people since I text like a champ, and it would be a waste to have it take me home since that's what the home button does. It just made the most sense to set it to search. Now if Messages were one of the options, then MAYBE I'd have it set to that.
 
Hm... I had it set to Phone Favorites but I rarely used it. I like the idea of the camera though..

I changed it.
 
never thought...

to use it as a camera, but as long as it is in lock mode and I double tap and ipod comes up I am a happy camper. I try to hide the camera icon because my son who is 2 likes to turn it on and then does not turn it off. 😀
 
It goes to phone favs for me but wouldn't it be nice if it took you to a favorite apps menu. As fast as the 3gS is it wouldn't take long. Maybe allow you to put 3 apps in it.
 
I'm not sure what to do with it (on my Touch). When I double-tap the button, I get a popup saying "Dock Connector" with Previous, Play and Next buttons. This happens regardless of which setting the preference is on.
 
Camera - All the others aren't urgent enough. My son is always doing something I want to quickly take a snap shot of at times.
