I am sitting here at 12:41 pulling my hair out in an attempt to make imail fetch the emails from my hotmail and spymac accounts, is it even possible? I know its probably a really stupid question and in time im hoping you guys will forgive me, and yes i know i could try googling for it, but i always have to hunt through hundreds of ****** sights to find the one useful one, and you people always know the answers.

If by iMail you mean Mail.app that comes with OS X, Spymac will work but Hotmail will not.

To set up Spymac:

Go into Preferences:Accounts
New Account (plus sign on bottom of left column)
POP Account
put in your description/email address/full name

incoming mail server: mail.spymac.com
user name: whatever your login is

outgoing mail: use whatever your provider tells you to use (called smtp)

First of all it's called Mail, not iMail.

OK, I know exactly what you are doing wrong. First go here (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/18189) and download and install the file. Then open up Mail (duh!); look at my pic, your account should look something like this:

I didn't know about that plugin. Thanx for the info on the hotmail, not that I need it but for futue reference.
