Need some help. Got 3GS, did a restore, now SETTINGS app is gone.

Bought a 3GS, did a restore, and now the phone is wacked.

I dont even have the settings icon.

Should I restore again or just sync or what?

Also, none of my music or apps came back.

What should I do??

Restore... and if you can do not "restore from back up" just set up as new phone
 
I'd do a clean restore to be sure.

Why did you restore the phone if it was completely new though?
 
I thought I was supposed to do a restore to get my app data back?

Like my 15 accounts in Checkbook, etc.

my settings app ended up on page 2 all alone. did you check there?

Yup.

Its gone.

Now, I just did a 2nd restore.

Got my checkbook app back, but still no settings icon.

What should I do at this point? 🙁

(As a side note, I can find it in spotlight search, so I know it is installed. Just no icon.)
 
Okay, that was weird.

It is back after doing a sync.

Strange, but thanks for all the help!
