iPhone speaker/mic dropping out during calls in 3.0

Hi all

Ever since beta 5 of 3.0 I've been having probs when on a call with it suddenly going quiet. The call continues so its not been dropped but the speaker and mic seem to stop working. I thought this may have been a bug in the beta so reported it as normal to apple. Now its the same in the 3.0 GM, has anyone else had the same problems (on o2 in UK)?

The only way to get the speaker and mic working again is to reboot - so this leads me to believe it is a software issue rather than hardware.

The GM and the one in itunes have the same build number and as such itunes tells me I have the latest firmware.

So no-one else had this prob then?

Should I arrange an appointment with a "genius"?
