Does Apple own the copyright for "i..."?

No. There are several products on the market that start with a lowercase i. Lots of them are technology products too. Many are not. There is no case here. Not only does Apple not have a monopoly of "i" names, the two products have little to do with each other and there is no real risk of product confusion (which a lawsuit would be about).
